Brexit will hit fishing industry

The chief minister says the Island’s fishing industry is likely to take the biggest hit, should the UK go ahead with a no-deal Brexit.

Howard Quayle says the possibility of the UK’s prime minister, Boris Johnson, making the deal in October leaves the Island in a strong position in manufacturing and finance, but the exports from the sea could be hit hard.

The Isle of Man Chief minister says majority of Island seafood heads to EU.
